Menu Plan–November 13

Last night I was looking back at photos from this past year… while doing so, I stumbled across a photo from November 13, 2010.  Our yard was covered with SNOW! 

 

I am so glad this is not this year!!!  Yesterday was 63 degrees & trees in our neighborhood still have pretty leaves.  I’ll take it! 

Last week was a busy one, but we managed to stick pretty well to the menu plan, enjoying:

This week, we’re planning on just a few bigger casserole dishes with leftovers, since we have activities Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday nights!

Sunday
French Toast, berry sauce
Three-Cheese Baked Ziti, broccoli
{To Do: Take chicken out of freezer, to thaw in fridge}

Monday
Apple Cranberry Granola
Leftovers
{To Do: Make Mexican Chicken Bake}

Tuesday
Berry Oatmeal Muffins
Mexican Chicken Bake, Green Beans
{To Do: Make dessert for Bible Study}

Wednesday
Veggie Omelet
Leftovers
Dessert – Either these or these!
{To do: Make bread/rolls}

Thursday
Waffles of Insane Greatness
Crockpot French Dip Sandwiches {new}, herb rolls, broccoli & carrots

Friday
Apple Cranberry Granola
Minestrone Soup {new}, bread
{To Do: Make Bagels}

Saturday
Pumpkin Spice Bagels
Pizza Pockets, mixed veggies

Also, recipes this week on Finding Joy in My Kitchen will be all about gearing up for Thanksgiving!  Monday we’ll talk Turkey.  Tuesday – Friday will be sides and dessert recipes.  Hope you’ll join us.

  1. I remember that snow! We had JUST finished getting the leaves done and then it snowed big time.
